Delivering swing, bop, Latin, and contemporary standards, the group adapts seamlessly from intimate trios to full sextets for fine dining, galas, corporate events, and festivals.

To serve audiences across Northern California, the collective maintains active regional arms:

In The Mix Monterey – Spearheaded by Rick Ciardella alongside local artists Ben Herod, Pete Lips, Adam Astrup, and TJ Kuenster.

In The Mix East Bay – Led by bassist Mike Boone to serve East Bay venues.

Building on a long legacy alongside core members guitarist Mike Keating and pianist Bob Applebaum, In The Mix remains dedicated to delivering world-class live jazz tailored to any room or event.
